PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

2. Things To Think Upon
"Success on any major scale requires you to accept responsibility . . . . In the final analysis, the one quality that all successful people have is the ability to take on responsibility."
— Michael Korda
Editor-in-Cheif, Simon & Schuster
"The price of greatness is responsibility."
— Winston Churchill
"It is my daily mood that makes the weather. I possess tremendous power to make life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration, I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or de-escalated, and a person is humanized or de-humanized. If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming.”

1. Personal Responsibility
2. THINGS TO THINK UPON
1. PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY
Most people avoid accepting responsibility. That’s just a fact of life, and
we can see the results of that choice every day. Yes, we can see responsibility avoidance in peoples personal and professional lives.
And here’s something else thats a by product of that avoidance: most people aren’t as successful as they WISH they were..ARE YOU ?
Then the issue filters down into family and friends and finally across their whole life. Do you see how responsibility avoidance and wishing
create nothing but lack ?
Simply put, to take responsibility for the success or failure
of yourself and your actions is to get free of all outside influences.
No possibility for excuses. No possibility of blaming anyone else if
the results aren't what you wanted,. No second-guessing. You must get
the ball in your own hands and nobody else’s. And, like magic, even if
you have failed 1000 times before it is irelevant because
from a position of total personal responsibility you will feel
empowered and u will know your going to make this one. And
that is exactly what will happen.
This is what literally always happens every time a man or woman accepts
personal responsibility eagerly and with confidence. It has been said
that accepting responsibility is one of the highest forms of human
maturity. A willingness to be accountable and to put yourself on the
line, is really one of the defining characteristics of adulthood.Better
thinking naturally creates better results in our lives.
So over the march/april period just take time to reflect and ask
yourself.."where am i avoiding and where will i now take personal
responsibility" .What areas of my life are suffering due to denial or
trying to shift the responsibility to others ?
Get an A4 sheet and run a line down the middle then on the left
make a list of things your avoiding and why ?
Then on the right make a list of the freedoms you will achieve and
feel when you take responsibility for doing them.?
Great, now grab a new A4 sheet and pick one thing off that left hand
list and write out whats required to achieve the result you know will
be produced when you do it…lol…ok this exercise has a built in
lesson and if you followed the instructions then you have proven your
capable mentally. The point is you can now see how easy it is to take
responsibility as you just did by making a decision to do the exercise
were doing now, so it is proof that your capable, you just need to
extend it to those areas you think are difficult.

1.Nothing Has Changed
Well here we are into 2010 already and nothing has changed. Most if not all of us have dropped or forgotten our new-years resolutions and fallen back into the same old mediocrity as last year, the same old habits.Wow how sad is that to know that come 2011 new-years most people will be looking in the mirror wondering what happened, wondering why nothing has changed except their age.
Well it will be easy to answer, you didn't take any new or different action from last year whether it was new thinking or new external action to create change you just did the same so you now have the same.
Anyway this is just a quick hello and have an awesome new year 2010.
Talk next month as I'm very busy putting the finishing touches to my latest exciting new book which will be available from this site shortly.ok chao

2.Ideas To Think Upon
To be concious that you are ignorant is a great step tp knowledge
Benjamin Disraeli (1804 – 1881),
Mankind have a great aversion to intellectual labor; but even supposing knowledge to be easily attainable, more people would be content to be ignorant than would take even a little trouble to acquire it.
Samuel Johnson (1709 – 1784)
The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance.
Socrates (469 BC – 399 BC)
I have enjoyed greatly the second blooming… suddenly you find – at the age of 50, say – that a whole new life has opened before you.
Agatha Christie (1890 – 1976)
